A club surrounding Princess Tutu's Ahiru and Fakir...

This club was created with the Ahiru and Fakir fans at heart...
However, you do not have to be a fan of this particular pairing to join. Anybody is welcome to join this club, whether they have seen Princess Tutu or not. The only thing that is asked of you, is that you do not bash the pairing or the show, and that you do not harrass any of the members because of their beliefs for or against the pairing. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DIRECT ALL FAVES AND COMMENTS TO THE ORIGINAL PIECES OF WORK! The artists really appreciate it!

Halloween

With Halloween rappidly approaching, a contest is being issued. The task is simple... Draw Ahiru and Fakir in costume. Depending on the number of entries, there may be a first, second, and third place prize. You are allowed to enter more than once but you will not be elligable to win more than one prize. The contest is not based on talent alone and many elements will go into chosing a favorite so even if you don't consider yourself talented you still have a chance to win. Good luck to everybody! You have until Halloween night! Please send a note with your entry to the club!

1st Place Prize: Free art of anything of your choice. Colored digitally and completely finished.

2nd Place Prize: Free art of anyting of your choice. Colored traditionally and lacking a background.

3rd Place Prize: Free art of anything of your choice. Lineart only.

Due to lack of entries, both artists will recieve free art for their time and effort. Both pieces are wonderful and it was really hard to decide which I liked best. To make it fair you will both recieve a 1st place prize! Thank you for participating!

Oh my gosh! I am so, so dreadfully sorry! I have been neglecting so many things and this club has been one of those things! I could give you every excuse under the sun but there is really no excuse for it and I'm sorry!

So to remedy this issue I am having with consistency, I have decided to enlist three (or possibly more) qualified members to help keep the club up and running with submissions. No previous experience is necessary to apply however I am more likely to pick someone with experience over someone without. If you would like to apply for a position as co-manager of the club please read the following:

I will accept applications from all members despite how long you've been a member. Please include the following form in a note to my main dA account (~SugarBeatAngel)

Previous experience in online club management:

A bit about yourself:
Why I should choose you to co-manage:


Once I have at least ten applications I will start choosing co-managers who will have full access to the account and a fancy new title as well as gift art of any sort (a sketch up to two characters; not limited to Princess Tutu) done by yours truly as a way of saying thanks for helping out.

So sorry my lovelies! It turns out that even after my wedding things didn't pick up. I've been busy with work and being married and almost losing my grandfather. Life has been hectic! But I'm back and hopefully I can stay consistent. Everything has been updated including new affiliates and ALL YOU WONDERFUL NEW MEMBERS!

Again guys, I'm terribly sorry for being away for so long. Please feel free to kick me over a pm to my main account if I happen to go MIA and remind me that I actually have this club to keep up with.

GOMENSAI! AGAIN! My wedding is a month away and as I warned, I won't be very diligent. Despite this, I have completely updated the club this month and I will try to check back every week. I'm very sorry but once I'm married and back from my honey moon things should pick up!

In other news... There is now a Princess Tutu Season 3 petition [link] which will hopefully allow for a third season! Please go check it out!

GOMENSAI! I've been planning for my wedding which is coming up in only... *looks at calender* SIX MONTHS!? OMG! *faints* Anywho... I'm doing my best to be a diligent Club Manager and I'm not doing it well, I know. 9 notes unread for Pocky knows how long! It's unheard of! I'm truly sorry! As time grows closer to my wedding I'm afraid my diligence will waver and slack greatly so I am considering appointing some helpers. I already have some people in mind so please don't ask me. If said people decline the offer and I feel like I really need the help then I will certainly hold interviews.

In lighter news I have decided to give the club a more user friendly, less cluttery feel. By doing so (as you've noticed if you're reading this) I am dividing the sections into their own private journals so that you will know just what is being updated and you'll no longer be annoyed with the constant updates of the old journal with the few little new members added every now and again.

That being said, dreadfully sorry for the inbox flood now. I know, I should have done this long before now. But to those of you watching the club. GOMENSAI!


*sigh* I will try much harder from now on.

Sorry for no recent updates! I've been very busy lately and I will get to the new submissions asap.

In a little bit of exciting news, I recieved a friends request and private message from Chris Patton (Fakir's Voice Actor for the English Dub) on my Myspace account and got to talk to him for a bit. He's really an awesome guy! You should go check out his band's page cause they really deserve it [link] I dunno if he wants his personal page plastered all over the web so I won't link to that one just yet. I'm a big fan of his work, so as you can imagine it was an amazing moment for me to log on and see that he'd sent me a friends request and a pm. Of course, he's just awesome like that so I guess I shouldn't spazz over it. But it was very cool to say the least and my sister had an absolute panic attack... Lol

Again, I'm sorry for not being on very much. I have a busy life that I tend to selfishly care more about. I'm sorry! But I have news... According to Best Buy.com the final English dub dvd of Princess Tutu has been released. However I headed on over to ADV films to find out if it was true and they don't have it available yet. I'm not sure if it is an error on Best Buy's behalf or not but I was certain a few weeks ago they had it listed for release some time in October. Regardless, you should be able to complete your collection by the end of the year. Hooray!

Sorry for the lack of updates, as well as the lack of even being online... I recently had a problem with my router and had to fork out nearly two hundred dollars to buy a new one! But it was definitely worth it because now my computer runs like it should. I'm sorry to anyone who this has upset... I'll more than likely update some stuff this weekend when I don't have to work. Again, I'm sorry! Much loves to you all!

The fourth installment of the subbed Princess Tutu DVDs is to be released some time this month. It is hard to say when this is... The Barnes and Noble website have the fourth volume listed for release on the 31st of March. However, the DVD Dojo program on Anime Network on Demand (A network in affiliation with ADV Films, distributers of Princess Tutu) states that the DVD is already available for purchase at this time... The show is narrated by Luci Christian, the voice actress who lends her voice as Ahiru/Duck in the English versions; I imagine she would have known the release date and corrected them, but there's a possibility she does not know the release date. Further adding to the confusion, the ADV Films website has no release information posted what-so-ever, however it is safe to say that you may buy the fourth installment of the series some time this month. Also, Anime Network on Demand has started showing the second season of Princess Tutu when they updated the viewable episodes on March 2, 2006 starting with Episode 14, the first episode on the fourth installment DVD. If you have Digital Cable, look for your Anime Network on Demand channel or see if you have Anime Network in your area. I must confess, you will not be disappointed with the second season, though I won't give away any secrets... It is a must watch!
